These Terms govern your use of Recap, a service provided by Zero24 LLC. By creating an account or using Recap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Recap processes sources you provide into readable Recap documents and lets you choose follow-up actions such as sending details to a calendar, exporting to a workspace, or starting a lightweight learning session.
Generated content may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing dates, facts, links, and other output before relying on it or sending it to another service. Recap does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and promptly tell us about unauthorized use. You may submit only content you have the right to use and process.
You may not use Recap to violate law or others' rights, distribute malware, bypass security or usage controls, disrupt the service, scrape it at unreasonable scale, or generate abusive or deceptive content. You may not reverse engineer Recap except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Your content
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Zero24 a limited license to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Recap and to complete the actions you request. You are responsible for your content and for having the permissions needed to submit it.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid features may be offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple. The price and billing period shown in the App Store purchase sheet apply. Payment is charged to your Apple ID after confirmation. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the subscription renews automatically and Apple charges your account within 24 hours before renewal.
Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting your Recap account or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Purchases, refunds, and billing disputes are administered under Apple's terms and applicable law. Restoring a valid purchase may require signing into the same Apple ID and the Recap account associated with the entitlement.
Connected services
Recap can connect to third-party services. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We do not control their availability or decisions. You authorize Recap to send the content you confirm when you choose a destination action.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or the product. We will provide notice when reasonably practicable for material changes. We do not promise that Recap will always be available or error-free.
Termination
You may stop using Recap or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation of these Terms, a security risk, a legal requirement, or conduct that harms Recap or others. Terms that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Recap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, Zero24 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from Recap. Zero24's total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Recap during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
General
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Zero24 LLC without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
We may update these Terms and will post the effective date here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
